Lubbock daycare for infants
Creative Learning Center offers Lubbock daycare for infants. We know how hard it can be to leave your baby, and we aim to make it easier by assuring you that you are leaving your infant in safe, capable, and loving hands at Creative Learning Center. Each infant receives individual feedings and attention, and we help you out by putting your baby down for a nap according to their established routine. Your baby will begin to discover their environment through all of their senses.
Because babies are constantly learning, we provide auditory, visual and sensory learning. As your baby grows with us, they will begin learning sign language (over 60 signs), colors, and shapes in our infant classrooms. This helps increase their vocabulary when they are ready to speak, as well as helping to lessen any frustrations in learning to speak and gain confidence within themselves. Our children are also taught that they are special, loved and one of a kind. We encourage self-discipline, self-knowledge, independence, enthusiasm for learning, and intellectual stimulation. Our infant day care program is designed to give each child as much contact as possible with their caregivers to encourage emotional, intellectual and physical development. If you’d like to enroll your child, please visit our enroll page here.
Sign Langauge
Children can begin communicating at an early age through sign language. Infant sign language allows the infant to express what he or she needs without having to vocalize. It is likely that your infant could know over 50 signs before they reach a year in age.
Skills Development
It is important for your infant to develop their fine and gross motor skills by picking up small objects and eating by themselves. Gross motor skills develop when we work on tummy time or begin to crawl, then walk. Our infant day care program helps your baby develop their fine motor skills.
Stimulation Exercises
The first year is the most important time in a child’s life. This is when they are developing the most. We introduce sensory, visual and auditory stimulations to help our infants learn different sounds, develop their eye sight, and begin to understand different textures.
Language Development
Language development is important in the beginning stages of life. This is the foundation of a child’s learning abilities for their future. They must be able to vocalize or write what they are wanting to express. We use animal alphabet friends for our children to learn the alphabet and talk to your child in order to help them associate sounds and words.
Social Skills
As infants, children are being introduced as friends for the first time. Therefore, it is important for them to know how we should treat friends and fellow classmates. We believe redirection is the biggest key to disciplining at this age. We allow your baby to socialize as we redirect behaviors and teach them skills like sharing and playing together.
Bible Time
At Creative Learning Center, we believe Bible time is the most important part of the day. It is the first subject that is taught at the beginning of every day. Our babies get to learn the love of Jesus through our Bible time. Lessons are presented through the telling of stories in the Old and New Testaments. We teach the Word of God through heart, soul, and mind.
